If the rear panel is not removable with external screws, remove the top panel first, then remove the rear panel screws from inside and lift up to remove the panel. If the lower cabinet appears to be one piece, this may be a belt-less direct-drive type of machine in which the entire cabinet is removed after releasing the top. In these machines, it is common for the plastic coupling device to fail--remove the motor to replace the coupling. Hope this helps!

It would be nice to know witch mechine it is? but,,,there should be screws in the top or down the sides at the back,,, the back may need to be removed to loop the new belt over the drum pully and then over the motor drive pully and the tensioner do unplug it from the water and mains first before working on it

Most washing machines and driers have the top held down by a strong spring clip.  Try to pry the top off gently but firmly with a large screwdriver.  Be careful not to chip the powder paint.  The back of the unit may have an access panel that is easier to remove screws from.

My kenmore washer is completely drained but continues to run like a full load is inside. Can it be reset or what else can be done?

Allot of people try to keep their machs as long as possible ask yourself Is the mach worth fixing or get a new one. After several years they just wear out. And by the time u spend upwards of 2-3 hundred in parts and labor u could have put that money towards a new one, just to have a repairman look at the mach. is about 75$ and might even put that towards your bill., if the mach breaks down again after a repair, well you can see where this is going.

How to fit a belt to a wf440p washing maching

remove the top cover and lower rear cover. loop the belt over the motor shaft and then around the drum pulley, this will probably only go round halfway as it is tight, hold the belt to the pulley by turning it rather like putting on a bicycle chain.
when it's on make sure it runs centrally round the pulley adjusting the position on the motor shaft if needed.

How to put on the flat belt on Hoover mach 5

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Usually there are 2 to 4 screws on the bottom of the vacuum and then the top cover will come off in order to change the belt or the bottom plate will come off and then you can get @ the flat belt. It’s one or the other. A suggested flat belt change is recommended every 4 to 6 months for the best cleaning and to store the extra belts in a Ziploc bag in the refrigerator.

So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Spin cycle trouble

possibly a segment has raised on the motor armature or a faulty motor brush. pop off the belt and put it into a spin cycle to see if you still hear the noise- if so the fault is with the motor as the drum will be still. any scraping sounds in the drum may be a lost bra wire.
