hi there, to unlock there are many ways, one of the easiest one is to go thru few blackberry unlocker, such as www.cellunlock.net ; www.cellunlockforums.net, or just go to google and type blackberry pearl unlock, it will cost around 20 usd for t-mobile.
if its locked to t-mobile, it will take a day to get the unlock code, but if its international lock, it would take about 4-5 working days
