Question about Dell Inspiron 1000 Notebook
Installed Rangeplus router works fine on my Dell pc (wired) xp sp3 media edition, works fine on laptop dell 1501 vista home basic (has on built in network card) installed a rangeplus adapter on laptop dell 1000 inspiron (5yrs old) xp sp3. After I installed the adapter, I was able to connect to the internet. I selected turn off the computer and later started to computer. The system hung up loading windows on start up. Welcome will not display.
See if you can go into safe mode by hitting the F8 key right after the dell splash screen and right before the XP splash screen comes up. If you can get into safe mode try to uninstall the rangeplus adapter and try reinstalling again after rebooting the system normally.
