Check in control panel and see if your audio device is yellow flagged in device manager. If it is, click on the plus to the left of the item, then right click on it and select uninstall. When you reboot, Windows should reinstall the driver. If not, contact me at mpcdrivers.com and I'll get a driver for you.

You have lost your audio driver. Go to manufacturers web site, help and support center, and download the new driver. That should fix your problem

My volume is not working even when I turned on but still nothing happend I powered off then back on but still nothing happened

Now Jennifer, do you mean the sound or the volume controls? I assume you mean the sound. In that case, can you hear anything when you plug in headphones? Is there a little headphone icon displaying on the screen? Can you make the volume bar display and move it up and down?
In Settings > Audio Profiles, you can choose ringtones and such, and set the volume levels of various audio sounds. It will also play a sample of ones you select, which is a quick way to see if the audio works.
You can install the "Z-Device Test" app from the Play Store, and it tests all sorts of things on your android. Maybe it can help.

Kindle will not turn on displays red bar on a battery. Tried a new charger. Not working?

From what I understand the newer version does not have a camera but the earlier version did, though apparently it was not advertised.

From what I have read you can access the the camera in the earlier version after you install a camera app; I would suggest then that you find and install a free camera app and see it it finds it; if no camera is to be found just delete the app.

Hope that helps

Phone was placed on it while playing music and now its not responding. no lights nothing, just the tablet itself getting hotter and hotter.

you might have to reset it, and give it a day's rest and then continue. With the device turned off, press and hold the volume down button, and then briefly press the power button. - Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the volume down button. - Press volume down to select clear storage, and then press power. - Press volume up to start the factory reset.

White screen on tablet

Turn device off. Hold power and volume button (try either up or down first). Hold until device powers on, up to two minutes in some cases. This puts device in download mode or factory resets it. Connect to a computer and download android update or original software from manufacturers online support. Procedures for this must be precise and uninterrupted. Follow steps closely and don't put wrong ROM on your device. YouTube search of your device may provide better and more descriptive examples.

Archos 101 wont turn on

System recovery

If your ARCHOS does not respond correctly or does not start properly, you can try to remedy this situation with a system recovery. Be very careful with this as there are options to erase all the data on your device.

To enter into the Recovery screen

- Turn off the device and wait 10 seconds.
- Press and hold the volume + button while powering on the device.
- Keep the volume + pressed until the Recovery mode starts (white screen).
- To move from one option to another, use the volume buttons. To select an option, press the ON/OFF button.

Recovery mode options

No: Cancels the system recovery.
Update firmware: Allows you to connect your device to a computer in order to copy the latest .AOS file (operating system) to your device and then install it.
Repair System
: Attempts to repair the file structure on the internal memory. This does not erase any data.
No: Return to main recovery screen.
Force Touchscreen Calibration:
Select this and then select no to leave the recovery screen. Upon restarting, the ARCHOS will immediately start the touch-screen calibration utility.
Check Disk: Check and repair the system partition if damaged.
Start USB MSC: Allows you to connect your device to a PC to access the internal memory.
Format System: Formats the internal memory. All data (music, photos, videos, etc.), applications and settings are erased. "

Yurning up volume

I'm going to make an assumption (assume=*** of u & me) that you are dealing with an Intel/Win machine.
If not, forget everything I wrote here.
It's helpful if you mention what your system and OS is.

You will need to click or double click on the speaker symbol on the task bar; if organized as common, it will be on the right.

On Win XP, a single click opens only the voulume control, double click gives you a detailed panel (different audio cards/chips look different since this is a software function) that allows you to control the level of different inputs or file types.

The presence of a speaker symbol on the escape button is kind of puzzling but may be a function of an extended keyboard that requires a manufacturer's device driver to be loaded when you boot.
That may not be loading.

(Some icons may require double clicks-)
If yes, then click on the Start menu, select Control Panel, then Sounds & Audio devices (or similar), this will show you if the sound is muted and let you select default volume level and tell you whose audio is installed.
If it looks OK, close the window and then click on the System icon, then Hardware, finally Device Manager.

Check the list for open folders that involve sound devices for any red 'X' on functions.
If you find one, then something hasn't been installed or turned on and since we don't know the exact system you have, it may require different methods of 'fixing' the problem and then you will need a friendly nerd nearby to help you.

right click on the speaker icon in your taskbar, select Open Volume Control. If you do not see the Microphone control select options>properties and select it from the list of check boxes. Press OK. Check the mute box for your microphone.
