Before my TV warranty expired, the repairman was able to punch in a keycode into the remote control for my Samsung TX-R3079WH television set. This brought up screens used to fine tune the picture placement and centering. Is there any way I can find out the code sequences?
That sounds like something that would be in a service manual. Now that your tv warranty is expired, you can probably buy the service manual off samsungparts.com. I wouldn't have suggested that if your tv was in warranty, because that procedure would be in the service menu, which only Samsung trained technicians have access to when the product is in warranty. Just remember, if you go in the service menu and mess things up and can't fix it, you would probably need service for the tv.
