Question about Siemens 24 in. SE25A266 ExtraKlasse Free-standing Dishwasher
It seems that my dishwasher has decided to make the programs longer ie the auto button would usually wash for 125 minutes and thats it done, now it has extended to 200 any ideas what it could be, or what i need to do. I have pressed the 2 buttons together which is supposed to reset it, but just goes to 0 and stays there...HELP!
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

This is an indication that the overfill float has been activated. The unit either has a clogged drain, or the fill valve is defective and letting too much water into the tub.
There is also a possibility of a leak underneath, perhap`s the wash motor or drain motor, but you`ll need to either have a look or call in a pro to check it over.
You can look with the aid of a flashlight by removing the access panel/kick plate at the very bottom. **If you are going to check on your own, shut the power off at the home service/breaker panel**
The kick plate will be fastened by 2 screws, one one each side to the left & right. Look for leaks around the drain pump, off to the left slightly from center, the wash pump, off to the right from center, and maybe the inlet/water fill valve, off to the left far from center.
(The wash pump`s have a known history of face seal wear and are prone to leak. Look for sign`s of water between where the motor and pump housing come together, i.e. water deposit/scale left behind).
The Bosch/Siemen D/W also have had issues with defective inlt/water valves failing, It`s a good idea to monitor the water level in the dishwasher throughout a cycle or when not in use to insure it isn`t filling when not energized or overfilling when in use to determine if this may be the cause.
Hope that helps, good luck.

get another hose same diamiter and two hose clamps and a splice nipple from hardware store, cut hose to lenght with some extra insert nipple into both hoses and clamp with hose clamps make sure you get them tight.. use a metal nipple as a plastic one may crack when you clamp hoses

I removed the dishwasher and put fill hose on mains pressure. (30 to 45psi or 2 to 3 bar). Working ok now. May be issue with water pressure switch ?

There are a few possibities...
if you remove the lid and take the two t20 screw off the left side panel at the front you could check the pressure chamber and its hose are not blocked. Use the link and go to page 4, part 263834 and 361113. You can also remove 165263 (remove t20 screw via the sump after all filters are removeds) this will expose the pump impellor and you can check for any obstruction. There may be water in the base of the d/w (base as below the tank, not under the filter) this will activate the flood safety and give the scenario you have described, so check valve, hoses etc for leaks. You will have to manual clear the water from the base pan to deactivate the safety device. Sit the front of the d/w on a large tower and tip the whole unit forward, the base water will then come out. Whilst you have the side panel off, check that the red rod connected to the pressure chamber is not activating the microswitch. https://www.bosch-eshop.com/eshop(bD1lbiZjPTAwOQ==)/bosch/gb/prodp.htm?prod=SHU6802UC%2f12&ESHOPTYPE=S ps I appreciate the link is not for your model but the part placing should be the same.
I hope this helps, Good Luck.

Good Morning friend, thanks for your post!
After researching the issue you are having with your Electrolux dishwasher it is possible that resetting your appliance may help. I would disconnect power from your dishwasher by unplugging it or flipping the household breaker for roughly ten minutes. If this does not resolve your issue I would recommend seeking assistance from a professional to properly diagnose and repair your dishwasher. -T
