Call the repair shop and inquire what ratio fuel/oil mix they used. If they tuned it to operate at 50:1 and you fill it with 32:1 it will impact performance. HTH

Replace the plug if you ran it rich for a period of time. How old is your fuel mix? 1.5 months is all that is recommended. Clean the air filter.

My Craftsman blower does not run very well and will only occasionally accelerate at half choke. I have attempted to make carburetor adjustments but with no success. Would you help me fix this?

have you checked your fuel filter in the tank? and /or replaced it and is there fresh gas mix or left over from last season?, sounds like if your filter is good then I would remove the carb and dissasemble it and thouroly clean it and put back together, I would recomend before cleaning carb to pull muffler off and make sure the screen is not plugged from 2 cycle exhaust. check your spark plug and replace it if all carboned up, then start initially with 1 1/2 turns out on both jets, then once it runs adj the carb first on "L" which is low speed to get it to idle, turn one way tillslows down then turn other way till slows down and find 1/2 way point then hold throttle wide open momentarlly to see if it revs, then move the screw out till it starts to slow down , you want it right on the edge, remember a little rich is always better than lean! then check low speed for acceleration low to high and adj "L" to get a good transition. Hope this helped you out, and if you are inside the carb make sure you pop out the inlet screen and clean it out too!

FIRST, YOU DIDN'T NEED TO REJET THE CARBS. I WOULD PUT THE STOCK JETS BACK IN IT WILL RUN JUST FINE. YOU NEED TO HAVE IT RUN ON AN EGA MACHINE TO TUNE IT PROPERLY.

4 stroke lawnmower dies or wont start....ran for little while when i took filter out. filter is dirty. if I replace filter should that solve problem

It may but don't count on it. Sounds as if the carb needs cleaned out. The carb probably is gummed up and dirty causing the problem. You can do this yourself if you are comfortable with carb work or take it to your local mower shop to have it done. the repair is usually inexpensive to have done and if a shop does it they fine tune the carb as well.

Took apart carb cleaned and now there is no mid or high range

did u install new gaskets, the engine might be sucking air from outside the carbs. u can use a propane torch (not light) spray a little around outside of the carbs, see if engine sounds different, if it does... leaky gasket.. u might check there is no unplugged vaccum hose.

You shouldn't notice a difference if you remove the air filter. So I would replace it. Also if you are using compressed air to clean or blow-out the carb. Be careful, its not recommended and could make it worse.

Carb adj F-150 1985 1 barrel

U are not describing a carb adjustment issue but a carb dirt issue or an intake manifold leak or the base of the carb is loose (very, very common), twist the carb body if it moves the base of carb has come loose, but back to the adjustments, set the rough idle speed to spec, then turn the mixture screw out about 3 1/2 turns, then turn slowly in while you watch a hand held tach, when the eng reaches its maxium idle speed the mixture is correct, then turn it in 1/3 more to pass smog and maximize fuel economy, then set the final idle with the idle speed screw, also verify the dash pot works so the throttle closes slowly when you raise rpm, if the little decel dashpot is no good replace it.
