This is either due to a faulty control board or faulty power supply. I first would check power supply by using a voltmeter and testing the wire connections where supply wires meet the main control board. There should be power. If not, the supply is faulty. If there is power in range, then I would test main control board with an ohmmeter to see if there is any power to and from the panel.

Red light blinking 6 times and then my tv stndby so my tv has panel problem? ?42 " tv model no 42w674a

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.
If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

SONY TV KV-BT21M80 TV going stndby again & again.please give me solution.

When the TV goes to standby state, do the standby light blinks. If it does, count these number of blinks at one time switch on. These are fault indications. From these number of blinks, you can get an idea about the faulty section circuit inside. If it blinks, count it. If you wish to get more details, about the blinking codes to Sony TVs, check this link.

Scepter 32 tv

You have to get this thing called the backlight inverter from the manufacturer. They'll fix their defective out-of-warranty TV for $250 or you might find the inverter on eBay for $175. I wouldn't trust a used inverter, since it's likely to have the same common problem. Sceptor will warranty their repair, so unless you know what you're doing, you might waste $175 and a lot of work, when you could just spend $250 (plus shipping?) for the whole tv to be "refurbished" with a new warranty.
