Question about Kenwood KNA-G510 GPS Receiver
I've had the GPS unit a little over a year now, it was working great, but latey, it's taking over 5 minutes or more to pick up the satellite signal, what could be the problem? Tonight it took over an hour!
The 3.60 Garmin update fixed the problem for me. Thanks for the advise... Now I can use my nav again... btw: there's a new 2009 Map update available now too.

After contacting Kenwood tech support several times, a tech finally came out and said if the unit is under warranty send it back to them and they will swap it since they do not repair it. If the Unit is out of warranty, then contact Garmin. When I contacted Garmin, the tech stated that Kenwood is pulling a fast one instead of standing behind their product. So who actually owns this product Kenwood or Garmin? Both names are on the product, but no one wants to repair it. Anyway to make a long story short there is a new update for this product 3.60 as of Feb 2008, downloaded and the unit works fine. Should resolve this issue.
