Question about Apple Logitech Freedom 2.4 Cordless Joystick (T6050LL/A)

Open Question

My Logitech Freedom 2.4 Cordless joystick is not working anymore. I've put in new batteries, unplugged the USB receiver, and nothing seems to work. The green light on the receiver just blinks repeatedly, and the light on the joystick stays orange and I press a button to get to to turn on. It has been working fine and all of a sudden it stopped working last night. I have done nothing different to my computer.

SOURCE: logitech zero calibration reset method

Have you tried using the Logitech calibration uninstall tool that erasers all joystick calibration from windows.

Download and run the Logitech Clear calibration (LWS_CLRC.EXE).

The Clear calibration Utility was developed by Logitech to resolve calibration problems with Logitech digital gaming devices.

NOTE: This utility strips all calibration information in the Windows Registry for all gaming devices. This includes any non-Logitech gaming devices that have been installed.

You may also want to uninstall and reinstall the Joystick Software as well. In some cases, if the calibration issue is within a game, you could try uninstalling and reinstall the game.

Please refer to your game manufacturer for instructions on uninstalling or configuring the game.

Note:
This calibration tool specifically mentions the Wingman Joystick, However, it works for ALL Logitech and NON logitech Gaming Joysticks and Gamepads.

Not likely. The receivers tend to be brand proprietary. Bluetooth is the only universal standard used by many input devices.

Hi, I suggest you to contact the Logitech support for a replacement this is an hardware failure and it's covered by warranty terms.
If you are not under warranty you still can contact them as I know for instance in Europe they can offer you some good deal on nowadays products.
US/Canada support: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/contact
European support: http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/contact
Thanks and have a nice day ! J -

Joystick is not finding the wireless receiver

On the front of the usb reciever you will see a green flashing LED. This is actually a button which when pressed will then start to blink more rapidly as it is now searching for the controller. If you then immediately press a button on the controller whilst these rapid flashes persist it will find the controller. Both reciever and controller will now show solid LED lights. Voila job done .....happy gaming:P
