Look into the rear of the freezer and see if there is a frost line building up on the rear panel. If yes the begin by unplugging and manually defrosting the freezer. Im going to locate your service manual and send it to you. You are sure the MBF2254H is your model? Sea Breeze

here is the service manual here=> MBF2254HEW Don't be surprised if you see parts your model does not have. This manual cover about 30 models similar to yours. Looks like there could be several reasons why the area in fresh food compartment is warmer. Defrost heater, defrost thermostat, Air Damper Control and possibly the control board inside the control panel where the temperature adjustments are. I would see first if defrosting by looking at rear panel of freezer and see if a layer of frost is building up. If yes unplug and manually defrost remove the rear panel in rear of freezer and need to check the defrost heater and defrost thermostat. Also the air damper could be stuck shut. Some model if you warm up the damper and increase the freezer temperatures the damper will open better and lower temperature in fresh food compartment. Here is a photo of the air damper 67003903 or 1057232 Air Damper Control Assembly

And the control board 12868513 or 1472681 Control Board

Check the freezer first and let me know what you find and I will be back soon to discuss the other possibilities, Thanks, Sea Breeze

When you said no cold air your meaning is nothing is cold? There may be a reason and your compressor has stopped or we need to feel and see if too hot to the touch. If yes, Unplug. If that is the case would you like me to assist you with finding the location? If you would like me to help let me know=> HERE

If you need parts here=> Appliance Parts Point and Click either way I will do my best to help, Thanks, Sea Breeze

the refrigerator simply by transferring the cold air from freezer via circulation fan the temp controls tells the fan to circulate cold air until the thermostat is satisfied I would check to see if the fan is blowing on most models I have seen its located in the left rear wall closest to the freezer above the top shelf

Refrigerator not cold enough and freezer is too cold making food very hard? water seems to leaking on bottom of freezer and refrigerator.

Refrigerators with attached freezers typically keep the two compartments at predetermined temperatures, but failure of some components can lead the refrigerator to seem warm while the freezer portion completely freezes.

Fan Issues
According to the appliance website Appliance Aid, many freezers contain a fan that blows cold air throughout the freezer and into the attached refrigerator. If this fan fails, the site explains that the freezer may become too cold; the refrigerator will not receive air circulation from the freezer, though, and will remain warmer than normal.

Air Damper
Appliance Aid also notes that most refrigerator and freezer combinations contain a damper that regulates the flow of air between the two compartments. If the damper sticks or fails to function properly, it may restrict the flow of air from the freezer to the refrigerator. The result of a failed damper would be a completely frozen freezer and a warmer than normal refrigerator.

Hope this would help.

Good day!

Freezer is cooling but the refrigerator is not cold

This setup uses a fan to push air around to distribute the cold air. It sounds as if your fan isn't running anymore.
It may not be a lot of fun to access it for replacement or lubrication which might be the problem. This type of fan motor normally uses a phosphor-bronze bearing with graphite embedded and while they shouldn't ever need oil, this type of bearing has tendency to get sticky over time eventually jamming the motor shaft.
Modern motors are 'impedence protected' so they don't 'burn up' anymore but do get hot.
What you might try is to check Sears parts section to see if your model is listed for replacement parts (they sell parts for about every US brand) and they may have an illustration of your fridge that shows you how you can access the fan.

Freezer icing up fridge not cold motor not continualy running

You have a problem in the defrost circuit, most likely the defrost heater or timer, there is also often a thermal limiting device that prevents the heater from going into nuclear meltdown incase it ever gets stuck in an on position.

Most residential refrigerators only actually cool the freezer portion. There is an air door and fan that takes the cold air from the freezer and pushes it into the refrigerator portion. When the defrost heater stops working ice will build up in the freezer, this then blocks the flow of air into the refrigerator and the problem you indicated is the result.

Ice maker stopped working, plus fridge not cold, but freezer o.k.

I would check that fan motor in the freezer section is running. it distributes cold air from freezer into refrig section also if this motor is running the top portion of freezer will not get cold enough to allow ice production. the motor is easy to repl and is mod# specific you should be able to buy one online.
