my drive d: which is the cd-rom drive can not be found in my computer.. is my cd rom already damage?

i cant find the upperfilters and lowerfilters on the keys you said. i found evrything, the system key, currentcontrolset key etc.. except for the upper and lowerfilters..

WizGo into the computers bios at startup .
is the cd rom drive enabled and detected .
if not then open the case and check the cables to cd
