Something is wrong. when higher currect flow through the circuit, that's when components get heated up. Either Stop using the flash drive or you may end up spoiling your Motherboard too.

Maintain wireless connection at school, is ok everywhere else...

There are some points to consider: 1. It could be that your computer is restricted from the school's wireless access point. 2. It could also be that the wireless adapter is old and might be needing an upgrade. 3. You could also try to re-type the school's wireless password in your computer is there is any.

How to get school websites off of a macBook?

if you don't have administrative privileges on your Mac, you're subject to whatever limits your school staff sets. If you have only a basic understanding of Macs, you won't be able to hack the computer without the help of someone much more sophisticated.

I cant go on youtube on a school computer

Depending on the error message that you are seeing, it is highly likely that the school district has blocked the website from being loaded on any computer that is on their network.

You might try to load it through a masking site (translate.google.com sometimes works too), but you could get into trouble for doing that by the school, and some of them are riddled with virus, so I won't post those instructions here.

When I plug my flashdrive in it wont recongnize it and it wont even light up anymore. It just worked the other day and now it doesn't! Whats wrong? Please help all of my school work is on it!!

Hello,

First of all make sure that the USB port that you are using to connect it to your PC is a USB 2.0 port, and not USB 1.0.

Also if it came with an external power, connect it to the external power before putting on your PC.

This is because the voltage supplied by USB 1.0 is lower than that of USB 2.0 and therefore might not be enough to power up your USB Drive.

After making sure about this, power up your system, and plug the flash drive, then Right-Click on my computer icon, select manage, then go to Disk Management Option.

On the Disk management option Page you should see ALL the drives installed on your system, including the hidden ones, so what you will just do is, try and locate the one representing your flash drive, and right click on it. then select "Change Drive letter and Paths", and give the drive any new, unique letter (i.e alphabet) different from the ones already on your system, and click on OK.

This should make your Flash Drive to be detected automatically.

You can also try it out on a friend's system.

Kindly keep me posted about the problem and let me know how it goes.

Hope this helps you out.

Goodluck!

Computer will not recongnize coby player.

What I have seen it is should show up under the flash drives. The one thing you can try is going to the coby website and downloading the driver for the player. That should fix that your computer is not finding your player. Hope this helps.

Not recongnizing

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
