    Tips & Warnings
    • While the software is pretty good, universal control isn't an exact science. There's a lot of trial and error to go through. Leave the software up, go test the remote, and come back to change settings.
    • You can change the order in which devices are powered on from the Devices Tab. Simply click the "Settings" button and tell the software you'd like the change the order.
    • From the device's Settings screen you can also change the name of the device and reconfigure it.

I have a Sony bravia tv and. Harmony 1 universal remote. How do I turn on closed captioning?

The problem with universal remotes is that they are just that - universal. They are good at doing all the normal things that TVs do, but often cannot or do not have the programming to do the subtle things that the manufacturer's remote can do.

Hi, my Logitech Harmony 1100 Universal Remote screen whent blank /white, is it possible to fix?

Hi. Firstly, I would not recommend trying to fix this yourself, as doing so would void your remote's warranty. The screen on my Harmony 1100 went blank once, and updating the firmware fixed it. Sometimes corruptions can occur on the remote that cause this issue.
To update the firmware on your remote, log in to the Harmony software and click "Downloads" at the top of the screen. Then, click "Firmware," and follow the instructions to update the firmware and configuration.
