You can unlock your LG phone using an online unlocking services. But only if your Verizon LG is a dual GSM/CDMA phone it can be unlocked to work with GSM sim cards.Try this LG unlocking service, ask their support if they have the unlocking code for your phone and IMEI and then purchase it in order to unlock your phone. Here you have some instructions for unlocking dual GSM/CDMA phones. I think it will help understand the process.
That phone will not work with SIM networks. That would be AT&T and T-Mobile. It is on CDMA technology while AT&T and T-Mobile use GSM and the two aren;t compatible. Sometimes a switch from Verizon to Sprint can work since Sprint is also CDMA service.
they can unlock any pone from Fido, Rogers, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Bell, Telus, Sprint, Wind Mobile and Virgin Mobile(Canada) and more
They are major suppliers for most resellers so there price is good and service is super fast and professional
Because it is a CDMA phone you are very limited to where u can unlock the phone to, it can't become a world phone because it is not a GSM phone "has a simcard" you would need to use it on something like Sprint or Cricket, Cricket will unlock the phone for you, and Sprint will not support the phone, However if you want to unlock it anyways it will cost about 30$ for any online locking service to unlock it. Beware unlocking services under 29$ are fake and will try to get you to buy something else later that you don't need.
Not happening ... Verizon phones run on a CDMA network. Cingular and T Mobile run on GSM ... Sprint although runs on CDMA .. last i heard were making most of their phones hybrid (CDMSA and iDEN ) and verizon phones can in no way shape or form be made a hybrid phone... specially not an LG phone.
Also, with verizon phones, there's nothing to unlock .. they are ESN bound phones meaning only the service provider can say YES or NO weather they'll use it on their network or not. There's no CIM cards
