It will depend on what model of gigabyte motherboard you have? Do you have the exact model number?

cpu-z or everest will tell you if ur unsure.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

I have a Acer AX1200-U1510A AM2+ Motherboard and i would like to upgrade the processor, ihave 4 gigs of mem and a 1 gig Gigabyte Gt 610 graphics card. I only have a 240 watt power supply what processo

Should work with a processor of the same socket type. I'd seriously upgrade the psu myself. Personally I'd upgrade the motherboard and processor to a quad core, and get the fastest ram, look at ebuyer.com, you can buy a bundle upgrade package for less than you may think. :)

You should be able to as it can take 4 gig total according to the manual.

Memory:
2 DDRII DIMM memory slots (supports up to 4 GB memory) (Note 2)
Supports dual channel DDRII 667/533 unbuffered DIMMs (Note 3)
Supports 1.8V DDRII DIMMs
Note 2. Only for GA-945GCMX-S2.
Note 3. Only for GA-945GCM-S2.

Hi, i have a DFI INFINITY-NF-ULTRA2-M2 MO-BO and i have 2 0f the 4 mem slots filled. I am unsure of the total available exspansion capabilities of the mo-bo. I have moved several times since building this...

Hi,
If 2 memory banks are filled totalling 2 gigs then you can obviously add another 2 gigs totalling 4gigs. This is a lot of memory for a system & although I'm not sure if your board can handle 2 gigs per bank, I personally believe that 8gigs is overkill & unneccesary.

Best wishes,

I had chage the Prossesor 1.g MHz with 2.4MHz. and error comes at Bios start 1801 invalid prossessor

The new Processor installed in your computer is not recognised by the BIOS.

Either you need to flash the BIOS to a later version or if it is a faster computer you want. Buy a faster computer. Upgrading a computer these days is expensive and the performance gain is not great.
Go for AMD Athlon 2 X2 or Intel I3 for office/light gaming loads. You may need to purchase a graphics card as well.

Take care!

Main memory

You could do that. But I would check to see if you couldn't pick up two 1 GB RAM sticks instead. Memory has gotten cheaper & Windows XP is a memory hog that likes at least 1 GB of RAM.
