On my 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara (J20, 2.0, 4-Cyl), It is Located near to the left of your knee, below the Dashboard. You may need a Torch to see it.
It looks just like the one Below:
On my 2001 Grand Vitara the fuse block is just to the left of my left knee when I sit in the driver's seat. There are several fuses in that box, pull them one by one, inspecting by holding up to a light. The same fuse blew on my suzuki and I think it was very close to the bottom and front fuse so start in that corner.

Did you check the fuses under the hood sometimes it could be there or under the dash?

fuse box are generally below the steering rack or just open the banetit is located at the right coner behind your engine

They are all on the same fuse, the fuse panel is next to driver's left knee on the interior wall of the vehicle. On mine that fuse was the lowest and farthest forward of the fuses. You will find that if you leave the cigarette lighter alone, the fuse will be OK.
