Question about Frigidaire FRS23R4A Side by Side Refrigerator
Water is not coming out of the dispenser. Frig is making ice. Water is getting to the connection at the bottom of the freezer door, but will not come out the dispenser - is there a shut off of some kind about a foot or so from where the water comes out. Have run a thin wire up from the bottom and down from the top and there seems to be a obstruction of some kind at about the same place coming from both directions. Have raised the temperature of the freezer for the past 4 hours thinking perhaps it was block with ice but no luck. Any ideas?
Good day,
4 hours is no ware enough time. As well, turning the freezer to a warmer temperature does little, since you're only changing it by a few degrees.
Forcing anything thru that tube, if it's ice can result in a difficult and expensive repair.
No body likes this, but shutting the machine off (unplugged), leaving the freezer door open with a floor fan blowing on the inside of the door is safe, but inconvenient.
