SOURCE: Ps3 wired connection prob.

I can't be certain, but does your ISP rewuire the hardware connecting to it to have a certain MAC address (i.e. the one used to first 'activate' the Internet connection)? If so you may need to 'clone' the MAC address to get online either by a router or some other method.

I have made a connection to my wireless modem and a hub with a 15 meters long utp cable with a straight connection pattern. i got my modem connected but to my computer internet loading it takes to long to...

It could be the size of the cable, although the problem you're claiming shouldn't have been caused by that (actually, most CAT6 cables can go up to 100m), unless there's a small break in the wire somewhere internally that still allows connection, but is intermittent, the only way to figure this one out is to replace the cable with a temporary cable that will preform the same function. Then you can attempt connecting the modem and hub with a shorter cable, if that works, then it's the length. And if that doesn't work, attempt to connect straight into the modem, if this works, then it's your wireless hub. And if that STILL doesn't work, close down ALL other tasks on your computer that require internet, and just try to use your web browser. And the FINAL option is attempting to replace your modem, but this is the last ditch effort.
I hope this helps!

PS3 and Netgear WGR614 V7 Router

Basically the PS3 wireless settings needs to be configures with the Netgear wireless router settings.
To test if the modem is connects to the Internet, connect a computer into the modem, if it works then the modem is configured correctly. If it doesn't work, then contact your ISP and get them to test your modem connection.
For details on how to configure the PS3 click on the WEB link :-

Had my ps3 for year and half now, never played online (80710102)

Ok first off create a psn account online via computer, this is free of charge. Then after that connect your ps3 via cable to your modem. turn it on and access network settings. Then select internet connection settings, select easy. After it is finished select test connection. Should this time out it means you have a faulty connector somewhere, try checking your cables and the ports on the ps3 and modem. But if it states connected, back out and go to network via your ps3 dashboard then select sign in and enter your account info from your psn account.

Router Won't connect to internet

The cable modem sometimes register the hardware MAC address of the connected device. So your PC may be registered and it won't accept the router now. Connect the WAN port of the router to your cable modem and power the modem off and on again. It should re-register the connected device and now your router should work.

Primary And Secondary DNS

Are you using a Cable Modem and a Router? I get problems like that when my Router is not working well. In which case I reset the Router (by unplugging it). Try connecting the PS3 straight into the Cable Modem, bypassing the Router.
