Question about Dell Studio XPS Desktop Computer
First go to the command prompt and see if you have tcpip communication by typing ping msn.com. if you see the ip address then connectivity is good. it will time out because microsoft is blocking ping requests. but if you see the ip as 184.108.40.206 then your fine. Then the problem it in your browser. either use a different one like mozilla, safari,opera or reinstall IE.
A rule of thumb in networking is always check your ip and your dns. make sure both are correct.
