Question about Computers & Internet
You can always try your speakers in another computer to make sure they're working. Open control panel and open Sound and Audio Devices. Under "Volume" check the box "Plance volume icon in the taskbar" and it will appear in the lower right hand corner. Open it and make sure the volume controls are not all the way down and set to high and that the mute box isn't checked. Go back to "Sounds and Audio Devices" and go to the "Sounds" tab. Select a sound like "Asterisk" or "Critical Stop". HIghlight it and then push the ">" button to play the sound and see if it is working.
