Question about Coby MP-C7085 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Problem of not been read by my Notebook.

My Coby MP3 Audio Player Clip (MP-C582) initally when connected to my notebook automatically was read and the icon popped up in the Computer as Removable Disk. After loading some songs onto the Player from the Notebook, it began to play which would be normal. I reconnected after downloading some new songs from the net and discovered that all songs were removed, as well as it now cannot be read by the computer.

Is it the UBS adapter or should I need an installation software and a drive?

Maybe, They are not in the good USB mode. Go on setting and change it to MSC mode.

Reset the device and charge again. You will lose the data but the drive should work. If that doesn't work it may be the battery.

Charging my mp-c582

I work for Coby technical support. Our customer service phone number is 1-800-727-3592.

When you connect the unit to the USB port on your computer, it will automatically begin charging. There are also universal wall chargers that can be purchased from Radio Shack.
If you feel this solution doesn't deserve a good rating, please let me know why so that I may better assist you. If there is anything more I can do to help, I will!

Check on the side of the player and make sure it is not locked that was why ours would not turn on. Once I unlocked it worked fine
