Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Xbox 360 to network is ok. network to internet is ok. internet to xbox live comes up 40% connected and pops up with update required. when i try to update the bar doesnt move and then it comes up with failed to update.

Check your network settings. Open NAT on your router if you have one, and its best to not have the same DNS address as you computer. Also make sure your IP is not the same as any other computer in the house

an easy way to sort this out is to switch your internet off count to ten then switch it back on then try it it may have just picked up the connection wrong but had its staus as ok hope it helps
