I have a ED25UEXHW01 fridge that won't get cold.

I have a Whirlpool ED25UEXHW01 fridge that won't get cold. I tried replacing the thermostat, but that didn't resolve the problem. Does anyone else have any suggestions to try before having sa technician come out and look at it?

Make sure the fan is working. If the fan is not blowing the unit will not get cold.

What is the model number of your refrigerator? In most cases replacing a mechanical thermostat that begins doing this is the answer to solving this problem. Problem is I don't know what the type of thermostat yours has because you did not post the model number. Thanks, Sea Breeze

I would first try replacing the control in the fridge. If that doesn't remedy the situation, I would try replacing the thermostat next.

Try the thermostat on it's lowest setting first. If it doesn't switch off soon enough and gets too cold, you can get different thermostats from your supplier. A bottle fridge thermostat would suit.

Whirlpool 10 cu ft fridge, freezing cans of pop at rear center of unit and spraying interior. Have had the fridge over a year with no problems until the last couple of weeks.

Turn the cold control down. If you have already have the cold control turned down then you will need to replace the cold control/thermostat with a new one.
