How do you know it is a fuse issue? Mine has stopped giving the disc/chg light when plugged in. I have good power at the end of the power cord. I noticed another post that says they used the wrong charger and now they have a problem. Is this what you did as well and the manifestation of it is now no power up?

Thanks for any help.
Rod.

Hi there. I have just moved in to a flat & have been asked if my stoves 050531075 gas oven is fitted with something called a FSD (Fire Suppresion Device) Would you be able to tell me please?

The are probably referring to an automatic fire extinguisher system, but from what I just read, the UK only requires a manual fire extinguisher to meet code.

The FSD would be fire extinguishers mounted on the wall instead of portable. They are only required in commercial restruarants.

Hi I've got a moog voyager rack mount edition and I Think it blew a fuse as it stopped I don't no where the fuse is can you tell Me how to replace it please Thanks Henry

DO NOT replace fuses without repairing the cause of it blowing!!! You can do additional damage to the equipment components. The fuse is probably internal and requires disassembly so troubleshooting can be done. If you don't have electronic test equipment, take it to a repair shop.

I just bought new discs for my Canon DC100. The

It's possible that, for some reason, the disks aren't compatible. It can almost drive you crazy trying to figure out why. To find out for sure if this is the case, try some new Panasonic discs, with the same specifications as the old ones that worked, and see if they work. If they don't work, you're probably having a dvr issue with the laser lens or related parts within the camera. There are many issues with dvrs that develop over time, requiring replacement parts and service. In those cases, it's usually better to get a replacement camcorder. The new HDD camcorders are immune from a lot of problems inherent with dvr and tape recorders.

Editing videos taken from canon dc100 camcorder

I see here that . . .

"The DC100 takes 3-inch Mini DVD-R/RW discs, and like most of its competitors, can fit about 20 minutes of best-quality video on one. If you choose to initialize a disc for playing in a standalone player, the camcorder writes standard VOB files; if you initialize for future editability, it records in the VRO format. Windows Media Player can play the latter if you rename the file with an MPG extension, however the aspect-ratio information gets lost--that info is encoded into a separate file--so 16:9 video will get squashed into 4:3. "

Cnet Reviews.

Your videos are recorded in the common DVD format called MP2.
They have the extention .MPG so if you copy the video files to your computer, and change the end of the filename from VOB, or VRO to an MPG then your software can recognize it as the MP2 format that it is.

There is a Windows XP program, called Windows Movie Maker, it can open your video files and provide you with most of the video editing tools.

Cheers.
