Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional for PC
If you are looking for free anti-spyware that will auto-protect you, try AdAware or Spybot and turn on the "tea timer" feature during the spybot install. There are other good free spyware programs such as A-Squared Free . If you need very good free anti-virus, run Threatfire and Avira AntiVir on your computer together. They make a great 1-2 punch against viruses. Always run a firewall as well. Comodo is a fine free choice. Just make sure you skip the antivirus option for Comodo during the install...it isn't as good as Avira and Threatfire.
