Question about Measuring Tools & Sensors

1 Answer

Hi , I have a Senco Accuset A100mp 23 gauge micro pinner. When I connect it to an airhose and pull the trigger it feels like there is a nail jammed in the driver. But there is not. If I take the top part of the gun apart and reassemble it,it works fine.until I dissconnect the air hose, then it jams up again.I have done this about 10 times.I even replaced the whole driver assembly yesterday.and it still does the same thing.do you have any suggestions.

Senco 601-at its deepest setting the nail likes a 1/4 inch of being flush. 110-130 psi and oiled good

The tip of the driver could be missing. Easy to check, remove nails from the gun, connect air, then push the nose against rubber hose (scrap airhose) (tilt the gun to side while pushing the nose against hose so that you can see the driver come out) and depress and hold trigger. When you fire the gun the driver should be visable (about 3/16 past nose). If you dont see the driver, then most likely broken at tip. If the driver is visable, then most likely adjusted to high or safety foot bent. Good luck

Grex Headless Pinner P635: Nail keep jamming. Any solutions??

By all reports, this is an excellent pinner.

This is an excellent product. When used it at 90 psi with the 1 3/8" pins there should be no issues with putting pins through shoe molding, corner molding, pinning crown miters, etc.

NOTE: The specially designed nail channel is designed to prevent jamming

However, there is a minor that I've experienced: it is difficult to load a new clip of pins when there are a few still left on the old clip. The spring mechanism pushes the two clips together pretty hard when you close the magazine, and the ends of the clips can get doubled up, jamming the magazine.

I don't know of any fix for this problem, so I recommend that you only refill it when it is completely empty.

If you've never used a pinner before, you should keep in mind that it is NOT going to replace your finish nailer.

I trust that this was helpful.

I have a Senco pro 35 18 gauge finish nailer been working fine now I just get air when I pull the trigger

could be a jammed nail in the nose/magazine area or a driver problem. is the driver fully retracted or stuck partially down in the nose. UNPLUG the air before checking. If the driver is partially down I would think a jam and fully retracted you might have an issue with the piston/driver assembly.

My Senco SFN1 finish nailer will not shoot a nail. When the trigger is pulled air comes out but no nail is shot. Thanks,Steve L

Not sure about Senco but most have latch you can open to expose firing mechanism. Nail sometimes gets jammed and will not allow driver to fire or if not nail push driver ****** all the way back into gun then see if gun will fire.

I have a Senco Accuset nailer - #A125B None of the 1 1/4 nails from Lowe's will fit, they are all a little off. The box says they fit 'any' nailer. Am I doing something wrong?

try a contractor supply, or find a senco distributor in your area, there used to be one in my hometown of Hayward, Calif. Tey carried fasteners for all models.

Gun will not drive pins flush with wood. Wood is

What is your air pressure setting. A finish nailer such as this usually requires 70 lbs to drive flush. Adjust air to this value and test fire in scrap. Keep adjusting air presure until nail drives flush.
