Re: forgotten password on login page

Try looking on the modem itself, sometimes they have their default username and password written on them. Try combinations of "user" or "admin". eg username: "admin" password "admin"
if these don't work and you don't know why you can't log into your modem, try resetting your modem using the reset button on it (or holding the power button for 10-20sec) and then try the above suggestion again.
If you still can't login, write back with your modem make and model number.

Couldn't log in. would't take pssword. Changed password still wouldn't take password

the default login information is Username: admin Password: motorola... when changiong the password it is best not to use characters ie. !@#$%^ etc, and no numbers and keep the password 4 to 8 letters long and always sve/apply changes... if none of these work, and you still can not access the user interface i suggest factory resetting it, but unless you are checking your signal levels or making sure you have a WAN address i really don't see a need to accessing the user interface of this modem as it has no firewall, wireless settings or anything else worth trying to change

Ubee dvw3201b log in from insecure manner

you get the login prompt? other wise service provider could have restricted access to the web interface from LAN side. If you do get the login prompt try using admin / cableroot as user & password or user / user.

I could not login to my account on facebook.

When Facebook was founded on February 4, 2004, it defined its mission as "Giving people the power to share and make the world more open and connected." With the widespread success of this social networking website today -- more than 500 million regular users as of April 2011 -- it may meet that goal for many. When a Facebook user can no longer access an account, it can be frustrating, but there is typically a reasonable explanation.

Facebook suggests that any user who can't access their account should clear cookies and cache on their computer as a first step. This will help remove old and unneeded files from your computer, and will sometimes help your computer to run faster, as well as allowing access to Facebook again. Once cookies and cache have been cleared, you should type "" into the address bar on your computer. Avoid using any old bookmarks or links to visit Facebook for this first visit after clearing the cookies and cache.

Password Incorrect

If you attempt to log into your Facebook account with an incorrect password, you will be unable to access your account. Even if you have the correct email address, that is only half of the log-in equation, and the correct password is absolutely necessary to log into the site. If you may have entered the wrong password, enter it again, taking care to get each character correct. Passwords are case sensitive, so all capital and lowercase letters and any symbols must be entered correctly. If you have forgotten your password, you will need to click the "Forgot Your Password" link to recover your account and create a new password.

Account Closed

Facebook reserves the right to close accounts that they have determined are in violation of their terms of service. If Facebook found that your account contained inappropriate content, did not represent a real person, or violated Facebook rules in some way, the account may be closed, leaving you unable to access it. If your account was closed for one of these reasons, your login will fail and you will be provided with a link to Facebook's "Confirm Your Identity" page, where you can read about typical reasons for account closures.
Email Login Incorrect

If you have entered the incorrect email address, you will be unable to log into your Facebook account. The email address that you use to log into Facebook is case sensitive, just as your email address is. If you fail to capitalize a letter or forget to insert an underscore that is part of the email address, login will fail.
If you cannot access your Facebook account due to an incorrect email address, double checking the address for correctness prior to logging in again will resolve the issue.

Compromised Account

If account information such as your email address or password is stolen, your account may be compromised. If, for example, your account information is stolen, the person in possession of your log-in information can access your account and change the password so that you will no longer be able to get to your account. If you think this may have happened, you must access the "Compromised Account" page on Facebook and follow steps to prove your identity and secure your account.

Best regards.

Hi. I have lent a cable modem to a friend who's modem was knocked out in an electrical storm. The modem I have lent them is a Motorola one that I don't use. When they plug the modem in, the computer asks...

I assume that the password you are looking for is for logging at the motorola's settings page (and not for computer's log in screen) In this case the usual pairs (username-password) for Motorola's routers are cablecom-router or admin-motorol. In case you don't come to a solution, reset the router using the proper button and try to log in again using the credentials given. In case the password is for connecting with the provider you have to ask the provider.

In case of a problem or clarification or further details needed, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.

I cant reset my Motorola SBG900!

Ok in the back of this unit or bottom there is a reset button or hole that you need a pin needle to access. Press it in for 15sec and let it reboot. Once it reboots, open a web page and type in or This will bring up a log in page. The login is admin and the password is motorola.
