Turn off machine by pressing power button hold down temperature button on front panel turn on machine while still holding temp button in quickly release the temp button and press the soil button. release the soil button and you should see a diagnostic mode on the screen there will be several sets of numbers on the screen the first set are number of wash cycles then the most recent three fault codes indicated with f1 f2 etc the last number is the software version in the computer when you can see this on the screen you will be able to reset the machine simply by turning off the power and then on again the fault code should then be gone

Hi, Fisher and Paykel washing machine code 49 and harness was loose. Fixed it, checked solenoids etc so should be all OK but code still showing. How do you clear the code after fixing the problem?

You don't. There is no magic reset button. Clear the fault & it resets itself. If fault is still showing then there is still a problem, Either faulty cold water inlet valve, bad connection or more likely a faulty main control board. That last one is the usual reason for that fault.

My machine keeps bleeping to tell me the cycle is finished but will not begin another programme ?

1. Set the cycle knob to any "X" (reset) position
2. Press and hold the Pre-wash and the Start buttons at the same time. While still holding these buttons, turn the unit on by pressing the On/Off button
3. Keep holding the Pre-wash and the Start buttons until the digital display comes on (about 5 seconds)
The digital display will show 00 for no faults or will show a fault code.
To end the test program turn the washer off at any time

Let me know what error codes come up, if any.

The engine light came on and the gas cap was loose, now the light won't go off, can you tell me how to reset the computer without disconnecting the battery cables ? it is a 2004 Sebring, V6

need a diagnosis tool, reset codes from it--autozone can do this for free. sometimes the code will go away after X miles of driving. This is a OBDIII issue, again a Tech II or scan tool can erase the code.

I have a bosch washing machine. The tumble lights are blinking and I cannot get the machine starting a new program

Restart the machine and repeat the following procedure to reset the machine to original factory settings.

Enter the test program by:

To end the test program turn the washer off at any time.

Post the results.

The result would be a fault code which indicates the error. Will await your further comments.

Print Cartridge Error

Have had much experience with HP AIO models and would try to double check the contacts on the cartridge carriage.. sometimes a q-tip swap dipped in alcohol gently over the contacts will fix this - also note the dates on the ink cartridges (even the new ones) If the dates are previous to the date showing on the machine, this will give this error, but can be worked around by clearing the memory with a factory or full (hard) reset that sets everything back to zero dates. THis usually involves holding down certain button combos while plugging the machine in... Try a search for reset codes on HP site or google with model number and "reset code" to find the proper button combo.
