Hi,
Does it give another symbol such as ". If this is the case then the langauge selection is wrong. Go into control panel, keyboard, and check that you have the correct input language selected. Depending on your op system there may be two places to select this ie basic and advanced.
Hope this helps...

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Can't seem to get the at symbol working

you may have the keyboard settings to a different 'language' an american layout keyboard is set to have the @ sign as "shift + 2" (whereas the U.K layout would give " for Shift + 2) and vice-versa!

to change the regional settings of your keyboard, (on Xp)
  • Control Panel
  • Regional And Language Options

Under Languages (Second Tab) Click on DETAILS, then this will bring up another window.

Select your default input language as either ENGLISH (U.K) OR ENGLISH (U.S)

Hope this solves the issue!!

sorry if it sounds confusing!

Keyboard problem

Hi,
A recent Microsoft update is probably responsible for this. It will have changed your keyboard settings from English UK to English US.

Here is how to set it right >>>>>>

Click on the start menu and click control panel. From the list in control panel click on Regional and Language Options.
Click on the Languages tab and then click on the Details button.
In that list you will both language settings (US and UK).
Click on English US and click on remove. (If English UK is not in the list click on "Add" and select English UK as the default keyboard settings).
The computer will tell you that the language cannot be removed until you log off or something similar of that nature.
Click Yes and then Apply and Apply and OK in the other window.

Then click on the start menu and log off your account.
Re-log on and the keyboard settings should be changed to UK.

If you require anymore help please feel free to post back.

Regards.

How to find the £ sign on samsung nc10

Go to Control Panel - Text Services & Language - Languages - Details - click on keyboard icon - then on ADD icon - add United Kingdom and make that the main keyboard. This should fix the problem with the problem with @ and " keys as well you should be able to use the £ key normally.
