Question about Televison & Video
When I turn on the tv, the screen goes green (with some horizontal lines) for a few seconds ( very quickly) and then the green merges to the center into vertical line and the screen then goes blank. Meanwhile all other functions are fine, sound, tuner, etc.
Is this something that could be repaired or this set destined for the electronic recovery yard?
Most likely the fly-back transformer is failing, you can take it in and get an estimate to decide if it's worth the cost of the part and labor.
but my guess is that you may be better off getting a new TV
Hope this helps
thanks for the rating
