Can't get it started on music and where is the volume control

This is a safety function so as to not blow out your eardrums.

You can install an app from the Google Play App Store that will increase the volume of music.

Or, you can buy headphones with a separate physical volume control on the earphones that can control the volume.

Very simple. It is not a defective unit. Simply a matter of volume attenuation, hold the "function" and "grove"keys for aprox 5 seconds until a message saying vac off appears. Problem solved. Resets itself eveytime the unit is turned off .

Master volume control pot is dirty and needs to be cleaned out. You can do this by unplugging the receiver and turning the master volume control back and forth from zero volume to full blast a couple of hundred times to clean the surfaces and restore normal operation.

Start - Control panel - Sounds and Audio devices - Click on the "Volume" tab. Check that the device volume is included in your volume control (Advvanced - Options - Properties)

Also check your speaker Volume and Settings.

You tube might use a different method to control volume. Check your media player's volume setting. If that doesn't solve the issue, right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray to bring up the volume control, then see if any of the volume is at the minimum level.

just try repair windows or scan ur drive in antivirus maybe virus disable that volume

If you have sound card installed properly then
Click on Start,All Programs,Acessories,Entertainment,Volume control.
You can control the volume of your sound from there
