Question about Philips HTS3500S System
I was watching a DVD when the image froze and a high pitched sound came from the speakers. After turning unit off then on at the power supply, the unit now does nothing. I cannot get the DVD out, it won't do anything.
Turn unit off and unplug, then plug back in and keep finger on eject button, and then hit the power button. Nothing? Get your phillips screwdriver and remove the shell. Then retrieve you disc. While your in there look for signs of a burned capacitor off the ic port chip and take a little glass cleaner and clean the optical lens with a micro fiber cloth.
