We have microphones plugged into PS2 for Song star - they seem to be working but no sound is being amplified. Any suggestions?

The sound is not meant to be amplified from what i know. it is simply supposed to recognise that you are singing

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

make sure the mics are plugged in properly. then after you choose a song it should allow you to test your mic volume and you can make it louder or softer

I cant seem to record more then one song

When you create a new song you switch to the new song automatically. To get back to the old one you just have to 'load' it from the list of available songs. As long as you shut down properly the song you are working on is automatically saved. It will automatically load again until you either create a new song or load another stored song.

No Sound When Records are recorded to Computer via the Microphone

use tape1 record out to the Line in jack on your computer. you should then be able to record to .wav, .mp3s etc. with an audio program like Nero.

Pls help

The MXL 990s requires 48 volts to operate. If your mixer does not have a phantom power option, you will need to purchase a microphone pre-amplifier with phantom power to interface the microphone to your mixer.

No sound

Sorry - I don't know what the fix would be....

One suggestion may be to take the audio out plug from the TV and run it to some speakers. If you have sound you can leave it on the speakers or try plugging the audio out into the audio in.
