Comaptibility issue, that is wrong with your file, different models or types of cellphone have it different formats, try to uninstall the file and download it again, make it sure that file you are goin to copy is supported by your software installed to your mobile phone

I discovered the right format for the satio phone is mp4. So if you're gonna put a video, make sure that the file is an mp4 format.

Memory harddrive corrupt in satio TM

well, bro! I think your phone memory card is error or damged, because of the frequent data transport, and the reasons for error memory card are various, for example unpluging memory card without shutting down mobile phone, formatting the card in wrong way, and virus attack, etc.
and after error, the data in the memory card may damages and you have to formate the memory card for reusing. And how to recover data from error memory card, you can know more from here: http://goo.gl/CMfQI

Sd card clear virus

Remove the memory card from the phone. Using your PC ,insert to the card reader slot in the PC scan the memory card for anycorrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they aredownloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card. Copy only validfiles to the card and do a scan before it is replaced.

I want to format my u1i satio memory card , how?

You can formatt your memory card directly from your mobile.
just go to my stuff or my files and select option of your memory card. Their must be a option to formatt your memory card.
samsung mobile has formatting option in memory setting option, in phone settings.
he still you cant find the correct option to formatt then insert your memory card to card reader and attach it to computer. And right click over your memory card, their is 100% option of formatting.
best of luck.

regards!

When i try to transffer data to the sandisk sd 2gb card im getting 0x8007045d error help please

it is because your card is formated as FAT ( this means that you can only store small files on it ). To fix this do the following 1. open my computer 2. right click on th sd card 3. press format 4. in format select fat32 instead of fat 5. click format (you will lose all data currently on the card) 6. when it is finished you should be able to copy files onto it

Why do the videos go to internal instead of external memory?

try to do this.
1. check if your memory card is formatted using your phone formatting utility. if not, back up the files on your memory card to your computer and reinsert it to your phone and have it formatted there ( don't format your memory card from pc this is not a good idea for it).this is also a cause or one of the reasons why the files, even if you save to memory card will add to your phone internal folders. the memory card needs to adapt the phone internal first before you can use them.

to answer your question,
converting videos are not only the issues for samsung, other brands and models as well. not all video codecs are supported by 1 phone. if the manufacturers will install all the codecs for a phone player, they should install first a prom that is large enough to hold them. it's never easy huh, but look on the other side, you will learn how to convert videos not only on 1 file extensions but for many. :-)

now, to transfer files, check your phone pc connection settings, do these by selecting menu, phone settings, pc connections, and enable ask on connection, at least you can select whether you want to connect it by pc suite or by memory card. select memory card, at least on that way, you will know that your are transferring and copying files from you phone memory card to your pc and vise versa. once you had formatted your memory card, you can see the same folder as you have on your phone internals. you can easily drag and drop files.

adding videos to your internal phone, i don't believe you need to do that, but for ringing tones and alarms, the phone will immediately add them to you internal folders once you had assigned them. try going to your my files folder, and check for the files, filter them by phone and memory card. you can see the drop down list at right top hand corner of your phone and check it there if the files are there in your memory card, you don't need to copy it to phone memory. you can access the files there.
just select the files and select more for more options.

regards.

Card error

Try turning off the camera. While it's off remove and reinsert the memory card. If the same message appears, you should re-format the memory card. CAUTION: Formatting the memory card will delete anything on it. Copy the files off of it before formatting.
