Question about Teac Audio Players & Recorders
A common fault on Teac X-10R capstan drive when the capstan unit belt is worn or not in tension. The unit won't read tapes because of the incorrect tension.
If the capstan drive makes no sound at all, then the motor may have blown.
If the motor is working try using back and forward, sometimes this can fix a minor mechanical problem.
If you need to contact Teac you can call the number listed on the Owner Manual.
