Question about Acer Aspire One PC Notebook
This could be a virus or a power issue. If your battery is charged and you are connected to power as well and you are having this problem you most likely have a virus. It is possible you have a problem in your power settings though, check your power settings in control panel and set everything to Always On for both on battery and on direct power and see if you have the same problem. If not your system is not detecting use or you need to adjust these. By default the computer will automatically shutdown if not used for a period of time or when battery power reaches a certain level. If you still have the problem after resetting the power options you need to have the system checked for viruses, that are a few nasty ones out there that do just this and they are difficult to get rid of.

Possibly overheating.. You'll have to check the Fan/Heatsink assembly to see if the heatsink fins are clogged
when a laptop/netbook overheat it triggers the thermal controller and your system is automatically shut down to prevent further thermal damage... this can happen instantly as soon as it's powered on, or at any other time...
Could as well be failing or misseated RAM
or Hard Drive is Full
or Corrupted Files/Virus/Trojan

Tips for a great answer:
It might be overheating. When your PC shuts downs and it's hot to the touch in some areas you might want to try this: I would buy a bottle of compressed air and I would clean/blow out the fans and exhaust port/s.
