First thing to try is unpluging it from the wall and let it sit for a couple of hours then try again.

The Wii turns on but the remote won't connect to the screen...all lights working also, bought a new sensor bar and still nothing...???

Turn on the Wii console, when at the home screen press any button on the wii remote, if the lights on the wii remote remain dark then it needs new batteries.

If the lights all light up at the same time then stop this means you are not synced. Press the 1 and 2 buttons at the same time to sync, this will work if they have been synced before.

If your four lights still blink blue then you need to open the little compartment on the console that is right below the disc tray. Inside is a little red button, press the button. Now open your battery compartment on the wii remote and take out the battery, then press the red button inside. Put the battery back in and the controller should sync up. If you are still having trouble you will need to contact Nintenedo Technical Support.

Hope this helped!

I have connected my Wii to my TV but I am not sure which button on the remote control I press to receive the signal on the screen.

This can vary depending on the manufacturer and make of your TV. Usually, the button on your remote would read something like "Input" or "Source". Turn on your Wii and cycle through the different sources until you see the Wii output (usually this is on the "Component" setting on your TV).

How do I connect my wii to the internet?

Hi,
There are three options available to connect Nintendo wii to the :-
Connect a Nintendo Wii to the Internet through a Wireless Router (1) Turn on your Nintendo Wii by plugging it into a power source and pressing the power button. (2) Press the "A" button on your Wii controller to continue from the warning screen. (3) Select "Wii" button in the left hand corner of the main menu, by using your Wii remote to move the hand shaped cursor over the "Wii" button and pressing the "A" button on the controller to select the Wii options. (4) Click the "Wii Settings" box on the right. (5) Select the left arrow to scroll over to more options. Then select "Internet" from the list and "Connection Settings." (6) Choose an open connection by selecting the "Connection 3: None" option, then the "Wireless Connection" option, and the "Search for an Access Point Option." (7) Choose the access point you want to use from the list that will be displayed. Save the settings by clicking "OK." Then click "OK" to start a connection test. When the test is complete you are connected.
Connect a Nintendo Wii to the Internet with a Wii LAN Adapter (1) Insert the Wii LAN Adapter into the USB port on the back of the console. (2) Connect an Ethernet cable from your modem or router to the adapter. (3) Turn on the Wii console. (4) Click the "Wii" options button in the lower left hand corner. Select the "Wii Settings" option by clicking on the left square. Scroll to list more options by clicking on the blue arrow to the left of the screen. Choose "Internet" from the list of options. (5) Select "Connection Status," then "Connection 3: None" and "Wired Connection." (6) Click "OK" to initiate the connection test. When the test is done you should be connected.
Connect a Nintendo Wii to the Internet through a PC (1) Insert the CD that came with the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector into a PC running Windows XP that is connected to high speed internet. When the setup window appears click "OK" to start the installation. (2) Choose your language and click "OK". (3) Insert the connector into a USB port on the PC when prompted. Hook the connector directly to the PC as ports on the monitor and keyboard will not work. (4) Click on the registration tool on the Windows task bar. (5) Turn on the Wii console. Click the "Wii" options button in the lower-left corner. Select the "Wii Settings" option by clicking on the left square. Scroll to list more options by clicking on the blue arrow to the left of the screen. Choose "Internet" from the list of options. (6) Select "Connection Status," then "Connection 3: None" and "Wireless Connection." Choose "Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector" from the options list, then "Next" to continue. (7) Return to your PC and you will find your Wii listed in the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector Registration Tool window. Click on your Wii's name and select "Grant Permission to Connect." (8) Return to your Wii and click "Next" for the setup completion window, and then click "OK" to run the connection test.
Thanks for using Fixya.
Good Luck and have a nice day.

Ok, the Wii connect to the tv thru the Audio/Visual connections, generally at the back, or side of the unit, usually they are Yellow, Red, and White, or Blue, Green & Red. Please ensure you are connected Colour-to-colour, and then on the TV or remote, select one of the Auxillary, A/V inputs. Then you should see the Wii picture on ya TV. That is why you cannot "find" anything on scanning.
