My video conference icon and pc to pc call icon is not enabled. What seems to be the problem. I check the audio and video configuration and everything works properly. I tried to install/reinstall YM but still it doesn't activate the video/pc2pc conferencing icons.

the problem could be on the internet connection kindly check them.

the conference is not configured in the cms it is configured in the asa or cm and cms is just for reporting not for configuring any other ip telephony configurations.

Install the drivers. If it's installed and detected correctly, you can use it to take pictures by going to "My Computer", "CrystalEye Webcam" and clicking "take picture".
If you want to use it for video-conferencing or video chatting, go to your communication program and configure the webcam, after it's configured, start the video session.
For example in the main windows of MSN Messenger, go to "tools", "audio and video setup" and choose the best options for your webcam, then in a chat window, go to "Actions", "Video" and "Show my webcam" or "Start Video-conference".

Sounds like you are either working on a network which must provide you with an IP address automatically (i.e. not permitting static entries), or you are incorrectly configuring the information for your static address.

Is there a requirement to use a static address, or will DHCP work just fine?

as u mentioned, (firewall), when u do this the audio packets get blocked, u need to open the audio ports or best is to go for a dedicated bandwith only menat for the VC so there is no security issue & u can use the VC much comfortably

this phone has a 2 hour built i recording faeture & also has a audio outpout port but no usb port, so if u want to transfer to pc, u will have to connect the outport thru a stereo male EP to stereo male EP to ur laptop or pc & rec it with some software( audio grabber easily availabel on net) whilst playing the recording.
otherwise better options like CENIX digital recorders are avilable that can take care of the requirement that u mentioned!

re configure the lan card

Is your problem happening only when you use skype messenger? Check if your mic is on mute by double clicking the speaker icon on the taskbar beside the date&time. Check also if there is a driver installed for the audio mic and sound to work by right clicking on My Computer then go to Properties, on the System Properties window click on Hardware tab then click Device Manager. Look if the speaker icon -- the Sound, video and game controllers-- has a Critical icon(a yellow triangle with an exclamation point inside). If there is a Critical Icon then there is a missing driver for your sound. Fix this by installing the driver or just check first if your mic is on mute. Otherwise your mic is busted.
