It's 50:1. I can't believe all the incorrect answers on here. All you have to do is go to the Homelite website.

SOURCE: yard broom leaf blower will not stay running I

It seems that the carb is not getting fuel. It could be a cracked fuel line. The fuel priming bulb could also be cracked/dry rotted. Possibly the fuel pump in the carb is bad. The carb is rather intricate and not something anyone without training should try to repair. The overhaul kit will cost $15 to $20. I suggest you take the blower to a repair shop.

SOURCE: What is the fuel gas ratio for a homelite yard

The mixture should be at a 50:1 ratio, using Premium Exact Mix™ 2-cycle engine oil. If Premium Exact Mix™ 2-cycle engine oil is not available, use a high quality 2-cycle engine oil, mixed at a 50:1 ratio.

The manual probably says 40:1 (3.2oz.oil to 1 gal gas) but if you use a good modern 2 cycle oil,50:1(2.6oz .oil to 1 gal gas) will suffice.

Gas/oil ratio for a Homlite yard broom UT 08026H blower

It's 40:1 but there are oil mixes out there now that you can buy that you mix with one gallon of gas and then it is safe for all 2-cycle engines...a real plus if you own multiple units with different mix ratios.
