SOURCE: Can't print to HP 2600n over network

The LaserJet 2600N has a built-in print server and can be connected to the local network (normal ethernet cable) directly. While printer sharing via Windows should work, I found it much more convenient to access it without the need of a hosting computer - you do not need to switch on the desktop PC for printing from the Laptop, for example, its also printing faster.

It sounds like you downloaded the PCL Universal Driver. Try the full solution driver or the PostScript Universal Driver. Both allow color prints.

SOURCE: the third symbol from top

The third symbol for the P2035N printer is the paper out light. Refill the paper tray or replace the paper or other media with a supported type. Then press the Go button (the upper of the two buttons at the bottom of the control panel). See the User's guide which is available here: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&contentType=SupportManual&docIndexId=64255&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=3662025&lang=en&cc=us#4 .

Supported media is listed on page 31. The status light codes are on page 78.

I hope this helps.

Is there a ps driver for the HP P2035n printer?

The 2035 is a GDI or host based printer. There is no actual print processor in the printer itself, all processing is done on the PC so I do not believe that you can use Post Script Drivers.

My printer prints the same document over and over even though the queue has been cleared. It is not a test page, but a different document that we had tried to print when it wasn't printing initially.

In the right bottom of the computer screen you will see the printer icon. Click it open and delete the print queue. Now when you order a new doc there is nothing but the new doc to print. If this does not work then re-install the printer drivers.

Using HP laserjet P2035N model. It is connected to the network with IP. When giving printing private software named "GP" we need to press the botton at the top of the printer. Then only the print is...

The reason you need to press the print button is because of the mismatch between the two paper sizes, this is normal. Find the manual and follow the instruction on how to change the paper size on the printer, or change the paper size in your software. Either should work. They must be the same for it to work properly.

Memory fails to clear

Hi there,

There could be 2 possible reasons for this.

1. The printer drivers are corrupted and need to be reinstalled
2. The Printer spooler needs to be reset.

Step 1.

To clear the Print job stuck in Queue and reset the Spooler settings, try these command below.

Click on Start button
Click on Run
Type Cmd "Note : If you are using Vista or Win 7, you will have to wait till the word COMMAND PROMPT is shown in the list and right click on it and click Run as Administrator )

You will find a Black Window
Type SC CONFIG SPOOLER DEPEND= RPCSS ( hit enter )
** make sure the command is entered exactly the same pattern**
Then
Type NET STOP SPOOLER ( hit enter key )
Type NET START SPOOLER ( hit enter key )

Do this 3-4 times and finally end the command with NET START SPOOLER
Type Exit to close the window.

Restart your PC and Printer

Try to print it should not..

Step 2,

Uninstall the HP Laserjet Printer Drivers from Add/Remove or Programs and Features list ( from Control panel )

Click on the link below and download the latest drivers for your HP Printer by selecting the operating system.
HP Drivers

Also, if the print jobs are stuck in queue, it could also be because of Faulty Ethernet or USB Cable or low signal on wireless. Try changing the Cables as well.

Suhail

My HP P2035N LaserJet is saying it's "offline"

Offline means that the computer thinks the printer is not available. The problem is that some how, that option in the printer menu has been checked. "use printer offline" is the choice that has probably been checked. Some times this will happen after a communication or paper problem has occcured.

To get to this menu, go to printers and faxes on the control panel. Find your printer icon and click on it.
A window wil appear and you will see file in the upper left corner. Click on this and a drop down menu will appear. You should see the offline option here, and if there is a check mark in front of it, click on the check mark to remove it.

This should clear the problem.

After moving to a new house/ new state, I can not get my HP 2035n to connect wirelessly to the router. It will print from any of our computers, but must stay connected to the router. I can find no...

The HP P2035N doesn't have a built-in wireless ethernet connection. It has a wired ethernet port. To connect to a wireless router, you need the HP Jetdirect ew2400 802.11g Wireless Print Server or the HP Wireless Printing Upgrade Kit or a similar device (note: not all third-party wireless print servers will work with the HP printer). Did you have something like this and misplace it during your move? If you did, try to find the print server to use the wireless option. Otherwise, continue wired ethernet option since it is working.

HP support for the printer (manuals, set up infomation, and drivers) is available here: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Home.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=3662025&lang=en&cc=us .

I hope this helps.

Printing problem (local and network) only with pdf

PDF files are designed to be small on the computer and are uncompressed when sent to the printer. The size of the PDF is filling up the memory on the print server causing it to crash.

make sure you have the latest printer drivers.

heres a work around if the drivers didn't fix it. check "print as an image" from within printing options in Adobe Acrobat (you gotta go to "advanced" to find that check box), and then it works fine.
