Hi,

Think it might be a blown fuse since the unit does not turn on, But before checking the fuse, check the preliminary steps..

First check whether the switch is not blown and also check for any breaks in wire, If all ok next we can confirm the fuse must have blown..

Most likely you will have to remove the covers and find the fuse on the circuit board. But be carefull as any static from you may harm the circuit board. Just touch something that is grounded first and release whatever charge you may be walking around on, carpet, etc. Removing the covers is no big deal. Just remember where the screws came from and put it back togeather in reverse of how you took it apart. You can have the dealership order a fuse for you. Might save you 50.00 or so

Please leave me comment, if you need further assistance

How do I get my machine to start sewing and stop beeping?

try rethreading the machine--use EVERY thread guide
make sure the needle is inserted up into the needle holder and turned the right direction
make sure the bobbin is inserted correctly into the bobbin case and turned the right direction
clean under the needle plate and in the bobbin area for loose thread or lint
make sure thread has not come off the thread take up lever
also the jam could have caused the machine to jump time and needs a timing or a adjustment

Thread setting out of wack; bobbin thread won's connect with "too loose" top thread

Your tension adjuster is either set incorrectly or needs repair. Bobbins also have a tension setting, though it is not often necessary to adjust them. If they do, it's usually done by turning a tiny screw a very tiny amount. Best to mark the original location of the screw so you can reset it if need be.

Clean out all the thread, clean the bobbin case area thoroughly, a soft brush is good for this, as lint buildup can cause jamming. Set the upper tension around 3 or 4, and try turning the hand wheel slowly to see if the upper thread picks up the bobbin thread properly. If not, adjust the tension again. If you cannot get it to make a nice even stitch, the tension adjusting mechanism may be in need of repair.

Babylock Esante stopped. Just makes loud noise but won't move even manually.

You probably have a jam. Start digging under the bobbin area.

If you get it all cleaned up under there... and it still won't move. Time for service by a pro. Could be something horrid like a bent shaft.

Good luck

My Shark 7133 slowed down while sewing and stopped. The handwheel won't turn at all. I cleaned the bobbin area but it still won't work. The light switches on and the machine motor reves up but...

Slacken the stop motion as if to wind a bobbin and press on the foot control, if the motor runs really fast then you have either thread stuck in the bobbin case area or you may need to oil the machine

Have you removed the bobbin case to clean it? If so, it probably needs to be reseated. Remove the bobbin. Take out the case and reinsert it. If you can't get the bobbin out easily, there is probably thread clotted up somewhere under the feed dogs. I usually gently rock the handwheel back and forth as I brush the bobbin case area to begin dislodging the "clot." It also helps to remove the throat plate so you have a better view of the mechanics under the feed dogs. You'd be surprised at all the goop that can be caught but you can't see. If you do find a thread clot, use a machine brush and tweezer to gently remove each thread bit. I really hope this helps you. If it does, please come back to Fixya and rate my advice. Thanks!

Out of nowhere, after working fine for weeks, the bobbin thread started breaking, and then stopped "wrapping" properly around the outside of the bobbin while I sewed. It keeps jamming to where I...

Change needle
Clean under needle plate where feed dogs are for lint
Clean bobbin area for lint or loose threads
Rethread machine top thread make sure to get every thread guide
& bobbin is threaded correctly & inserted in the bobbin case or shuttle correctly
Check tension 3 or 4 is usually good

after you try all this & it keeps jamming then it may need to be serviced

Usually when a machine is totally jammed, it's either (a) because a bunch of upper thread has gotten jammed into and around the bobbin assembly so thoroughly that the assembly can't turn at all, or (b) the needle is jammed down the hole so thoroughly that nothing moves.

If both of those places are clean and empty. . . then "Never mind!"
