Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
This can be caused by a dirty laser in the drive. Try cleaning the laser with a quetip and alcohol. If this does not fix the problem then the laser in the drive needs to be replaced on the unit. Contact sony to see if the unit is still under warranty. If the unit is not under warranty go to www.wiredextreme.com. We are a console repair company based in Texas, and we can clean/replace the laser for you. We give a free diagnosis of the unit(excluding shipping), and will call with an estimate before any work is done on the unit. All our work is covered by a 30 day warranty, and you can buy extended warranty up to 4 years.
