I like to open the GPRS in my mobile the brand is myphone i dont know how to do or what i need to do to access the gprs so i cant use internet in myhone,

Hello,

It's very simple.
First, call your phone's service provider.

Ask them if your phone can support gprs (if you don't know that already)

If it's supported, ask them to activate gprs for your phone.

The activation will be done within 2 or 3 hours,.

Finally, you will receive a service message containing the gprs settings required to browse the internet on phone.

Thats it.

You're ready to surf.

But do confirm data transfer charges. They can be costly.

To start surfing, just open the phone browser, and enter the website you want to go.

Regards

How to setting gprs n email for S5233

Hello thanks for using fixya
General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) is a packet-based wireless service used for sending and receiving data through the internet protocol. With GPRS, the transmitted data is divided into various 'packets' before it is received by the user.

To use GPRS, users require:
  • A mobile phone that supports GPRS
  • A subscription or upgrade, as relevant, to the mobile network that supports GPRS
  • Some users would specifically require asking their mobile network provider to activate the GPRS while other network operators allow automatic access
  • Knowledge of how to do data transfers on their specific model of the mobile handset as it varies depending on the models and brands.

Setting up GPRS for your phones:
Usually activating GPRS on your phones are done by the service providers, and different service providers have different configurations. Additionally, the settings for GPRS vary based on the different phones and phone models. As activation is required before setting up you should know that activation process vary from one provider to other. It could be as simple as sending an SMS to a particular number or calling customer care of that particular service provider. Once the activation is taken care of, the setting of the GPRS is done based on the model of the phone.
It is important to note here that the setting for GPRS is different for different phones companies and may be different even for the different models produced by these companies. Therefore, it is recommended that you rely on the information given directly from the service provider. Again activation process may be different for postpaid and prepaid customers. So just call and demand GPRS settings for Samsung s5233 by the service provider, They will send it free.

I cannot access the internet via my samsung b3310 mobile

Hello
Internet access on your mobile or mobile broadband is possible by connecting via GPRS (General Packet Radio Service). GPRS 2.5G is a packet-switching service. It allows you to access the Internet by sending packets of data over the Internet. You can send and receive email with GPRS. It supports WAP, SMS text messaging and other data communications. When you click on the Web icon on your mobile phone, you get connected to the Internet. For the internet setting/configuration on your mobile you may contact your mobile service provider by calling on help line or visiting their nearest office.
Hope it helps if so do rate the solution

INTERNET CONNECTION

hello there! thanks for using Fixya.com!!!

It seems that your mobile phone has no WI_FI coonection of WLAN. However, you may still access the internet via GPRS. Just contact your Network Service Provider and ask for the GPRS settings manually or they can send you over-the-air settings. On this you can access the internet. Pls take note that this may vary and charges apply according to your Provider.

Hope this will help you.

Internet connection

hello there! thanks for using Fixya.com!

I suggest that you should contact your Network Service Provider. Usually, WAP application is already featured from your mobile phone but you should activate it the GPRS to access the internet. Please check with your Network Service to send you this setting manually or over-the-air!

This application WAP browser provides all of the basic services of a computer based web browser but simplified to operate within the restrictions of a mobile phone, such as its smaller view screen. WAP sites are websites written in, or dynamically converted to, WML (Wireless Markup Language) and accessed via the WAP browser.

Hope this will help!
