This will work on any model or make of net-book or Laptop enabling you to load CD's or DVD s with software onto your net-book laptop especially good when the CD/DVD drive has stopped working or is non existent, there are a few prerequisites before you can carry out this operation.
1:You must be in a networked environment in your home/workplace
2;One of the networked computers must have a CD/DVD ROM available
3:The computers must have been linked in a home or a small office network
4: Printers and sharing must also be activated in that network
Method is as follows:-
On the Work-group/Home network computer with CD/DVD ROM click on Start then my computer and look for CD/DVD ROM icon.
Right click on the icon then click sharing and security enable sharing and security then restart this workstation , You will then see the shared hand icon underneath this icon representing it is a shared item after restart to confirm it is shared.
On the laptop/net-book look in my network places you will see the CD/DVD ROM available to you now all you need to do is place in the work-group computers CD/DVD ROM the required software disk and there you have your problem solved without the expense of purchasing an external CD ROM
Operate now your Net-book/Laptop with available CD/DVD icon and double click it or right click and explore choice is yours.

Should you not have at least the above 4 listed items at the top of the page then this method wont work .I will publish another method soon for those people that have no network and only have a single net-book/Laptop with no CD capability
