Question about Philips 50P8341 50" Rear Projection Television

NAFTA keyboard part # 313501707611 repair?

The NAFTA keyboard part # 313501707611 on my 50P8341 is shot. Sears no longer caries them, and the Philips website says the item is field repairable. Does anyone know what part need to be replaced on the remote to fix it? First the remote sensor stopped working, then it would shut off when trying to switch input source you never know what will happen when you hit any buttons on the front. Thanks.

4 Blinks means that an incorrect voltage had been detected on the +5V circuit coming from PSU to digital control board.

Power light comes on, then blinks 6 times, then off for 2-3 secon

You need a new Naftakey bord part number 313501707611.
Its your volume, channel and your on and off button that needs to be replaced you can do this yourself. Remove the front cover it just pops out and unscrew the back cover disconnect the wire to this area on the part it self it states "part number and name". Good Luck, in getting this part. Im having trouble in getting this part (discontinued item) They may have under another name part.

One of my colors are not registering with the others.

you will need to get convergence done to correct the color alignment and the warped look , those are the exact signs of the convergence IC's failing
will you be trying to do the repair yourself or will you be needing to call an electronic repair shop?
