Try cleaning the track ball with a qtip dipped in alcohol or nail polish remover.. It could be that the track ball isn't "reading" correctly due to oil, etc.

All of a sudden my keys on blackberry curve will not work, side buttons (camera, etc) ) WILL NOT RESPOND, all it will do is boot up, i can scroll up and down but cant click on anything....i didnt get it...

Hi
sinc your side key also not working seems like your phone is moisture damge from track ball area.
IF your keypad lights up that means the keypad is not loose. If not then your keypad connections are loose.
you may have use the track ball with your hand wet that cause this problem.
basically you need to clean your phone from inside.
thank you.

Unable to scroll to the right allways

the track ball on the curve is very prone to such problems. we frequently use un-clean fingers when using the track ball. the dirt gets collected on the track ball and on the underside. use an alcohol swab to clean the track ball and your problem should get solved.

Cannot scroll up with my Blackberry Curve 8310 trackball

It is a very common problem. You just need a new trackball. Should be about $25. If you want to make it work temporary, then just removed it and clean the trackball and the phone part under it (on the phone itself) with 99% alcohol. It might work for a while again
