Question about Ricoh Office Equipment & Supplies
Try to manually asign an ip for it ..in the range of the router ip ...and be sure that you do not gave it one that is already assigned to one of the devices in your area... for example ..probably the router ip is 192.168.1.1 and this will be also the default gateway for all ...so ...you will take a look into the router settings ..and see it 's Ip-es range ...ex from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.50 ....and asign one of the ipes that its on its range but not yet on another machine from the the network ...
if it has the feature ...also try to put it on tcp/ir protocol ...and after that obtain an Ip adress automatically ...this is the actual seting that it should have on its lan card.
anyway ...even if you get it to take one automatically you may still be able on the .advance seting to choose an IP ( conf manually )
another way to do it ..its just to install the printer on one of teh machines in the network ...and when try to print just search for the printer with he wizard ..but this will depend on the settings and firewalls..
