Question about Goldstar GR131CN Compact Refrigerator
The unit worked fine until it was moved to another location,i can hear it run but it doesn't get cold. Any suggestions or trouble shooting?
We have the same problem I found out that the magnetic gasket (door gasket) is not sealing well.
Need to check it out use a dollar bill close the door and see if it is holding the bill tight if not replace the gasket.
hope this helps.
I am also looking for a place to purchase a replacement gasket for our frig. can anyone supply me a parts supply store?

Although this is unlikely not the problem, check the outlet (plug) make sure its getting good power and not fluctuating. If you are not sure, use an extension cord on a plug that you know is good. All this aside, moving the fridge can cause a problem if you layed it down on its side during transport and plugged it in immediately after turning up right. then you may have burnt out the compressor by not letting the oil drain back into the bottom of it. Basically the equivalent of the oil pan on a car. If it was transported upright and all that jazz, then check the fan in the back by the compressor. Sometimes insulation or other debris will get tangled up in the blades preventing the fan from running. If all this is good, then I will need some more info. to help you any further.
