Yes your decision is correct. Epson is in the top bracket of printers if not the top most. Have you been able to remove the staples from wherever they were.

My mp250 is taking the paper in sideways and I have looked and the rollers do work. What could be the cause and am I able to fix this problem myself?

oh dear, Never spray lubricant or anything other than air into a printer. I presume when you say "sideways" you mean "skewed".
If so then you have an object in the paper path that will cause this.

Let the machine try to feed the paper then when it jams VERY SLOWLY pull it back out. No look at the leading edge of the paper for a nick in it. The nick is caused by the paper hitting an object. Now lay the paper on top of the paper that is in the feeder. Look at where the nick is. Now refer this to the machine so you are looking into the machine in the position of where the nick is. Shine a torch into the feeder and you should hopefully see the foreign object and try to remove it with an opened paper clip bent into a "L" shape.
Good luck.

Canon IP2700 6000 Error

Error 6000 tells you that the paper feed roller is not turning, check for any foreign objects in the paper path, a flashlight and small mirror is the best way to look.

yes.. i agree on this statement..

just try this one., its tested by my own experience., first turn off the power of IP2700 printer
then just try to turn the gear of paper feed roller in order to release
the foreign objects..

Hello there,

This is called a false paper jam. normally, a reset is required for this.

Hold the power button for 30 seconds and this should prompt a shut down.

next, make sure that the rollers are clean inside. use a lint free sloth and some distilled water. Dampen the cloth (Q-tips works fine too, please do not use cotton) and rub the rollers.

Then as it dires up. turn the printer on and do a test page.

Please don't forget to leave a feedback and testimony if it works.

It makes noise during the drying cycles

There are 4 possible sources of noise:
1) Drum support assembly - Open the door and turn the drum by hand. If there is a grinding sound and it feels rough, the roller suppot bearings are suspect.
2) Belt tension assembly - Same test as 1 except if you hear the grinding sound but it feels smooth, check the tensioner roller bearings
3) Fan assembly - this can have bearing failure or get foreign objects in it. Access isusually via the back panel
4) Foreign objects - check for things like coins in the space between the front of the drum and the trim around the door opening

Every time i switch my printer on i get this message: "Delete all print jobs and turn the printer off. Remove any foreign objects from inside the printer. After a few minutes, turn the printer back...

there may be some paper fragments in the roller trick..turn off the lights, close the door, and use a pen light to peer into the usually dark and black area..the paper will glow brightly if it is in there..

the print jobs are usually located on the lower right tray, behind a right click on a printer manager icon
